This is a hard review to write. If you're a Nicole Edwards fan, you won't be disappointed. This book is nothing but RED HOT. I liked both characters, the writing was good, and did I mention the SEX was off the charts? So what is the problem? There is a lot of "sharing" going on. I'm a fan of menage when its depicted as part of a committed relationship. I'm not a fan of two characters that are in a relationship randomly inviting third and fourth parties into the bedroom for sexual escapades. That's just my personal preference. I think if it would have happened once, I could have just read right through and still enjoyed the book. Unfortunately, it happened throughout the book and was hard to just sweep aside.
After saying all that, I am almost tempted to read book two in the series which is based on Luke and Cole's relationship. While Conviction was an extremely sexual book nothing was hotter than Luke and Cole together. I mean FAN YOURSELF HOT! Unfortunatley, I think the entire menage for a good time is a mainstay with Nicole Edward's writing and while I like so much about her stories, I just don't like that aspect. If menage without a relationship doesn't bother you, I would definitely recommend this book. It just wasn't for me. Overall, personal hang ups aside, a 3.5 book.
