Nixon, Vol. 2: The Triumph of a Politician, 1962-1972 (Nixon Biography) (Kindle Edition) I truly enjoyed volume one of this two part biography, so I decided to get the second part as well. Although Ambrose, admittedly, does not share Nixon's politics, he does strive to be fair and does a very good job. This is not only a good reminder of a tumultuous time that I lived through, it also gives some wonderful insights into things that were happening behind the scenes that the public was not privy to at the time. Nixon was a complicated man, and this helps me to better understand who he was and why he did some of the things he did. A very good and informative read. Ambrose also has a nice style that is as easy to read as it is compelling.
