Its a review about this product
I've had 3 problems with my Obi100 and Google Voice. I use the phone for about 60 minutes per week.
CONS:
(1 I average probably 2 dropped calls per 60 mins.
(2 The phone does not ring once every 2 weeks or so.
(3 About once or twice per week, I try to make an outgoing call...but then get an error message stating "there
is no service at this time". When this happens, I am forced to pull the power plug and then reconnect.
PROS:
(1 It's free after the initial purchase of the device.
(2 The call quality is usually very good. I think it decreases when both parties are using VOIP.
The dropped calls are the worst drawback. If you have an important call for work or an interview, then dropped calls suck.
