The review about this product

Pauline's, Signed Limited Edition (Hardcover) Once upon a time, many years ago, in 1967, seven college boys traveled to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to cheer on their beloved MTSU football team, who was playing the local WKSU, ...a yearly event in the Ohio Valley Conference.... Being the fun loving kids of the sixties, typical of fraternity pledges, the plan was set for after the game, making a visit to Pauline's a must do....

...Where does one start, and how does one properly begin, to express that day's adventure, and how does one describe, the smiles it made for many years ahead... Pauline Tabor says it all in her book, and it's right on target, when she wrote and described how her Clay Street house was set up, and about the ladies who worked worked for her... I can still see one of my fraternity brothers, knocking on Pauline's front door, and being asked to park in the back, in a large parking lot...I can still see the main parlor room, with two coke machines sitting on the side of the room as we entered, and can fully visualize the two GIs, passing us, with smiles on their faces, as they moved their way out the exit where we had just entered...I can still see, the lead lady calling the girls out, and how we had to select one, as if we were looking at a candy case..... Yup, this book was a joy to read, and I've since mailed it out to each of the brothers who experienced this adventure many years ago... We're all now in our late sixties, and smiles and laughter still erupt when we talk about our day at Pauline's...Its a great read and all true..... Fred Erwin
