The review about this product
I purchased this phone based on reviews here so I thought I was getting an excellent phone. I can say it had great range & I thought good clarity but callers on other end occasionally complained of static when talking with me & that was when inside. I initially didn't like that this phone had no headset jack but I knew that when I purchased as most phones nowadays don't. I thought I could live without needing that but whenever I propped this phone between my left shoulder & ear when trying to use my hands while on the phone, I would constantly hit the "mute" button. This is a big issue & happened often with others using the phone as well. I tried using speaker phone but this was delayed type (you talk & mutes other end) so can't have normal conversation with it. I did like most other features such as accessing voicemail with handset, the intercom & push to talk modes, nice display screen & easy menu. Only 3 days after purchasing, one of the handsets quit working. The display screen was blank & none of the buttons worked so I switched batteries with other working handset but it still didn't help. I called the AT&T customer service phone # (sticker on base charging unit), nothing they told me worked & said it was still under warranty since within 30 days of purchase so I could return it. I decided to just get my money back & buy different brand phone. It's not that I'm worried about another headset going out again, I know random things happen & I could get another one & have it last years. The reason I am not buying this again is this is kind of phone for someone who sits on phone doing nothing else. I am a busy person & don't like thinking I can't do anything with my hands while using this phone but I can't tolerate hitting mute all the time, having no headset jack so can't use hands-free, & speaker phone feature on this phone is useless!!!
