Its a review about this product
Panasonic KX-TG7741SDECT 6.0 Link-to-Cell via Bluetooth Cordless Phone with Answering System, Silver, 1 Handset (Office Product) Let's start out with the positive -- it's pretty. Well that pretty much sums up what's good about this phone. Negatives? The sound quality is simply awful. Metallic. And the handset volume, even at maximum, is inadequate (and no, my hearing is absolutely perfect). Hard to hear the party on the other end no matter what. If you press the "equalizer" while on a phone call, all it does is make the other person sound like Robby the Robot. The Bluetooth function that links the phone to a cell phone is so poor as to be totally unusable and the phone doesn't allow you to assign different ring tones to the land line and the cell, so there's no way to tell which is which when the phone rings. The handsets don't have a "hold" or "mute" button. Presumably to do this you need to take your ear away from the receiver and start playing with the munu options. I don't know what the R&D guys at Panasonic were thinking when they designed this hot mess but there's almost nothing that they got right except for the overall appearance. Does it have all the "features" you'd want? Yup. Do any of them work adequately? Nope. How this managed to get so many positive reviews here on Amazon is more than a little disconcerting as I often rely on Amazon reviews in making my purchasing decisions. Trust me. Save your money. I'm going back to VTech. Not as feature laden or as 'sexy' as the Panasonic, but boy, do they ever make a phone that does exactly what it's supposed to.
